Remembrance Day Service

Sunday, November 11 @ 7:00 p.m.

Featuring a drama by Maj. Rev. Dr. Tom Hamilton, an Act of Remembrance, and special music.  Join us for what has become an Island tradition for many families as we mark Remembrance Day and Dr. Tom brings the story of a soldier to life.  This year’s service theme is the 100th Anniversary of the Armistice.

The Man Who Invented Christmas

Dr. Tom Hamilton.  Dr. Tom has become renowned for his inspiring dramatizations featuring the true stories of soldiers, sailors and airmen who have served.  Don’t miss this year’s exciting story!  The service also features special music and our Act of Remembrance.

HONOURING OUR VETERANS

poppy_300The Church Family at St. Mark’s takes pride in Honouring Our Veterans.  Join us as we mark Veterans Week 2015.

Our annual Honouring Our Veterans Service will be held Sunday, November 8 at 11:00 a.m.

 

 

padre tom in WWI uniformAs has become tradition, this service will feature an Act of Remembrance, special music, and a live-action drama written and performed by our own Dr. Tom Hamilton, portraying the true story of an Islander who served with the Air Force during the Second World War.  Plan now to attend this special service.
